Reef had a really great day on an exciting shoot yesterday. We shot in a gorgeous location and worked with an amazing team.

Everyone on the shoot enjoyed being a part of the day and we’re really happy with the results! We are now looking forward to working with the images to produce something beautiful. Here are a few behind the scenes images capturing what we got up to – we even braved the chilly weather to get some perfect shots in the grounds of the location!

We are a successful full service design agency based in Surrey and we are looking for an experienced designer to join our small but very busy creative team.

You will need to be a great creative thinker and have a keen eye for detail and you must be able to demonstrate this in your portfolio. This is a hands-on-role and we are a small team so you will be required to see jobs through from design to final artwork. You must be an excellent team player with experience in presenting concepts to clients and have strong communication skills.

You will be working across brochures, catalogues, DM and other marketing material. We have a wide range of clients ranging from well-known high street fashion brands, to interior and lifestyle brands. We pride ourselves on our love for creating highly effective design and stunning imagery and this is a great chance for you to join our team.

You must be fluent in Indesign, Quark, Illustrator and Photoshop. You will need to have your own transport and be able to commute/access the Guildford area easily.

It’s always nice to hear when our efforts are producing results, our partnership with Figleaves has long been successful, but has received a huge boost recently with news that Figleaves have posted their first profit in 13 years. We’ve worked on some great catalogues, a gorgeous lookbook and our Christmas photoshoot sparked the beginning of their fabulous, albeit distracting tube campaigns. Great news for Figleaves – long may we continue the success together!

Brook Taverner Autumn 2012 – Behind the Scenes

Our creative team have just returned from a gloriously sunny Paris where they were shooting the latest Brook Taverner book. The Parisien laissez-faire attitude to shooting in the city made for a very enjoyable and relaxed shoot all round. With such great images, we are all looking forward to designing the Autumn catalogue.

Victoria turns 30…

Victoria has got a big birthday coming up on Sunday (the big 30), so we all took it upon ourselves to celebrate accordingly, in true Reef style. She came in this morning to decorations all over her desk, and after lunch was the cake, along with the repro’d Crew Clothing card for her (which put a massive smile on her face. After work, we are all off to the pub to carry on the celebrations!

These images were shot by Italian photographer Alberto Seveso. As a master of underwater photography, these images are so rich in colour, they make you want to dive in to the image. Beautifully crafted, these are now my screensaver in the office.

Not a bad life as a creative director…

Last week, our Creative Director Brad, his wife Liz and son Archie went to shoot Crew High Summer 2012 in St Vincent, near Barbados! Back in the office today and looking tanned, they had a great time. Great shoot and looking over the shots today they look lovely – it will be a fantastic campaign for the Summer.

And there wasn’t an ounce of jealousy in the office!
